Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Certification
This 16-hour comprehensive training is specifically designed for: Yoga Teachers, Teachers of Children’s Yoga or Family Yoga, Fitness Professionals and Childbirth Doulas who want a greater working knowledge of pre-natal yoga. You will learn how to accommodate pregnant women and new mothers who attend your group yoga classes and private sessions. You will also learn how to sequence and teach a Pre-natal Yoga class as well as hands-on work with pregnant women as well as Yoga for Childbirth. Requirements: You must be a certified yoga teacher to attend this training. Acceptance into the training is at the discretion of PREMIER PILATES & YOGA.

Yoga Therapeutics Training with Adriene Ingalls
With well over 15 years of teaching yoga and yoga therapy Adriene Ingalls is adept in using her knowledge of various yoga styles and yoga therapy to apply alignment principles and various other techniques to aid healing and help you and/or your students deepen your yoga practice, reduce chronic pain and recover from injury. Adriene has worked therapeutically with a wide range of students, from pro athletes to people with chronic pain/injuries to grandmothers. To stay healthy and on the road, runners benefit greatly from integrating yoga as part of their training program. This class is taught by a NYC Marathoner, Runner and Certified Yoga Instructor with several years of experience teaching yoga to runners, sports teams and other athletes. Specifically for runners, this program includes both strength and flexibility in key zones. Yoga is not only for flexible people – those that have the most to gain are ‘tight’ bodies, like runners and other endurance athletes. Other athletes are welcome to attend as well.

Classical Pilates Mat Certification

This Comprehensive Authentic Pilates Mat Training is ideal for aspiring pilates instructors, fitness trainers, personal trainers and bodyworkers. In this course you will learn the entire Classical Pilates beginner and intermediate mat repertoire. Participants will become fluent in teaching all the beginner and intermediate mat exercises and the Classical Pilates Beginner and Intermediate mat sequence. You will also learn how to teach the exercises safely as well as pre-pilates exercises, modifications for varying abilities and injuries and the anatomy related to each exercise. Most importantly, you will leave the course knowing not only how to do and teach each exercise but also why. The six classical pilates principles will be emphasized together with teaching a dynamic, energizing and flowing class.
Exams include a 50-minute practical test on the Beginner/Intermediate level Sequence as well as a take home written Exam.
